My mom and I attended the first annual Author Meet and Greet in Batesville, MS, last Saturday. We had a great time meeting other local writers and picked up some helpful tips (plus, stay tuned—new bookmarks are on the way!). We might go again next year, if only for the snow cones. Here’s a picture of our table—it was easily the most flamboyant one there, thanks to the glitter tablecloth I found at the store. How could I say no to that?
